“I bloody love them”
“a sound that feels both timeless and refreshingly modern”
“The start of something exciting!”
Talkline represents the musical collaboration between vocalist and vibraphone player Amy Hollingsworth and pianist Will Hobson.
Amy and Will began working on original music together in 2021, however their friendship spans over a decade. These years of shared experiences have culminated in a sound that blurs the lines between singer-songwriter, minimalism and jazz, with influences from Lucy Rose and Hiatus Kaiyote to Steve Reich and Seafarers.
In November 2023, Talkline were given the opportunity to record at Abbey Road Studios, and the band returned in January 2024 to finish off work on their self titled debut EP, released in July 2024.
2025 sees the band push their boundaries with their latest single ‘Stuck Here’, available now.
Talkline’s music has been featured on playlists, local radio and beyond, including notable support from:
David Earl - featuring ‘Stuck Here’ on his Podcast ‘Chatabix’
Tina Edwards featured ‘Song for a Sign’ on her ‘Spitting Fire’ playlist on Spotify
